Fuerstova hiša is already from 2013 a shelter for creatives. From when mr. Walter Fuerst gave his former home for symbolic rent in usage to creators of cultural scene in Ptuj, there was established coworking space, that is used for different purposes and events. Creators are themselves confirming, that this place is encouraging for their development and work.
In last years house hosted more then 100 events and it has cooperated with festivals such as Art Stays, Arsana and others, through the people and through the premises. Gerhart Fuerst, business mediator, on a regular basis communicates and cooperates with members in the house and also organizes and leads team building workshops. In 2015 KUD Fuerstova hiša was established.
Creatives inside the association are working in different fields: paintings, music, animation, photography, tourism, cultural organization, films, upholstery, woodworking, home-made jewlery...
Diversity of knowledge is supplementary and different interests of people make this house interesting for locals and also for tourists.
Members are organizing events for external public regularly, on a monthly basis. Events are intended for really widespread public, there are events for kids, music lovers, elderly, poets... In house can meet really different kind of groups of people that can here cooperate, participate and get to know each other.
