After coming back to Slovenia and restitution of the house and wineyards in Jeruzalem Gerhart Conrad Fürst decided to reinstall the wine company (originally founded in 1821) and re-introduce the brand »Conrad Fürst & Söhne« to the European market. He allured Alois Gross as partner and enologist who is an extraordinary wine-maker in Austria's Styria, not far from the Slovenian border. In 2007 Gerhart and Alois founded Fuerst-Gross-Vinogradništvo d.o.o. and began the production of highest quality white wines such as Šipon (Furmint), Sauvignon and Beli Pinot (White Pinot). Their primary wine in 2010 was Pod Stolpom, a blend of all three wines, which immediately became the darling of many wine consumers. Conrad Fürst & Söhne is a small brand in Slovenia, exports to restaurants and private customers in Austria and becomes more and more an insider’s tip in Germany, Netherlands and Belgium.
